Many are planning their gardens in the hope of producing an abundant harvest. It all starts with good seed and soil.
“A sower went out to sow his seed….some fell by the wayside…Some fell on rock…some fell among thorns…But others fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop a hundredfold…”
Luke 8:5-8 NKJV
To produce the abundant harvest for Christ, we need to have the good seed (God’s pure Word) and soil… we need to get rid of the things in our lives that prohibit the Word of God from taking root.
The psalmist David asked the Lord to search Him and show Him the things that were not good (Psalm 139:23).
Remember, what we get out of life is what we put in. We will only reap what has been sown.
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” Galatians 6:7-8 NKJV
