Spiritual Leakage. There was a leak! Oh, no! I had just spent a lot of money to put new windows in my old house. The first rain produced a leak.

We can leak spiritually if all the doors and windows are not shut and cracks not caulked which allows the hope of Christ to leak out. The first to go is our focus or vision in Christ. Our vision becomes distorted and our focus is on other things that will not glorify the Father. Before we know it we are off path, our ordained path.

Every day we need to seek the Lord for guidance, direction and lean into Him to unite with Him. “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,” Luke 4:18. Our focus must be God’s focus.
