Sorrow in the heart

Many parents have carried burdens or sorrows in their heart for their children.  Whether we have known it or not.  

“A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.”  Proverbs 10:1

Jesus wants to give you the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; (Isaiah 61:3).    Praise and joy will lift your heart.  “A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.” Proverbs 15:13
