Something stinky in the air

With the change in laws that allow the utilization of CBD (cannabidiol), a strange odor is in the air. Reports show that CBD can help with anxiety, arthritis and addictions. The areas that the medical community says CBD impacts are all spiritually rooted afflictions.   

Let’s take anxiety; anxiety is rooted in fear. God says that He has not given us a spirit of fear but power, love and sound mind (2 Tim 1:7). We are to cast our cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7).

Arthritis is rooted in unforgiveness, bitterness and resentment. When we do not forgive others, we will not be forgiven (Mathew 6:14-15). We must not fall short of the grace of God by allowing bitterness to creep into our life (Hebrews 12:15).

God is the only one that can take away addictions. Anything else is a patch. Addictions control and enslave. They cause you to make God second. When Jesus sets us free, we are free indeed (John 8:36).
