Soft Ground

After much rain the ground was soft and just right for pulling weeds. It made me think about people that I love, but because of a hard heart they do not want God in their lives on a daily basis. Because I want them to know how wonderful God is and how much He loves us, I pray for them to experience the same relationship.

But, God has given us a free will to make a choice to love Him or not. So, my alternative prayer can be to bind the “god of this age”, Satan, that he can no longer blind them from the truth of God’s love. God can soften the ground of their hearts.

“But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”     II Corinthians 4:3,4  NKJV
