It all started with a pair of socks.

As I was sitting at my kitchen table eating breakfast, my puppy came strutting into the kitchen with a pair of socks in her mouth. She pounced on her bed and dropped them. She looked over at me to see what I was going to do. I thought wow…this is blatant rebellion, or was it? Was this her way of getting my attention, loving-kindness?

Do we do this with the Lord when we desire His attention? Are we rebellious/defiant?

God gave me insight into my puppies heart at that moment. You see my puppy came from an abusive home, and this was probably her only way of getting love. Thank you, Lord, for looking at our hearts.
