Many of you may not have heard of a new type of dance where people wear headphones on the dance floor and can choose the type of music they wish to dance to. It is called silent dancing. The type of music that is being listened to is denoted by the color on the headphone. When you go on the dance floor, you search out a person by the color of headphone.
Our walk with the God is the same way. We are each given listening devices. Our hearts indicate what we are listening to. When we step out in public, we are searching for those whose hearts are listening to the same tune. Imagine if all hearts were listening to the same glorious blessing. It would not be called silent dancing.
“My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings…. Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them,“ Proverbs 4:20-22
“I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.” John 17:21 NKJV
