Sickness Common to man
If Jesus has taken all on the cross and it is by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5) then, why do Christians get sick?
I just walked into my mother-in-law’s house. She had been sick for five days with the flu and it had gone like a wildfire through the family. Why was I just now hearing about this? I prayed for her and she was made well. Praise the Lord! The next day I started to get a headache which I rebuked in Jesus name several times and my body began to ache. I proclaimed health and healing over myself in Jesus name. I still became sick. Why I asked the Lord. He said that I had sickness common to man.
I had worn myself out from the drive from Florida to Pittsburg in one day. I was exhausted. My body was susceptible to sickness because I had not taken care of it.
As Christians, we can get sickness common to man if we do not take care of ourselves the way we should. Take the time to rest in the Lord.
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 2you were bought at a price. Therefore
