She dared to start the race

I recently saw a story about Bobbi Gibb on how she hid in the bushes on the day of the Boston Marathon, waited for the race to begin, and then jumped into the race after the pack. She had not received a qualifying letter; she had been rejected and told that women are “not physiologically able to run a marathon. When the runners and crowd found out a woman was running, “the crowd erupted—not with anger or righteousness, but with pure joy, she recalled. Men cheered. Women cried. The first woman to run the marathon had finished in the top third.”

If God has called you to fulfil a position in the body of Christ, step out. God calls the most unlikely people; look at Gideon.

“And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” Judges 6:15

Allow God to use you for His glory.
