Did you know that there may be something in you that is not of God?  An open door in your life- sin, unforgiveness, proclaiming the wrong thing- can let this force in.   
God said to Cain, “if you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”  Genesis 4:7
God is holy, and He is light, and He does not reside with darkness.  God sent His Son, Jesus, to make a way for us to come into a relationship with Him.    When Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, He went to be with His Father.   And He gave us the Holy Spirit to be our guide, helper, and teacher.  He will share your body with what is not Holy so you can be made Holy.   
You may go to church and read your Bible, yet there may still be a force within.  One that oppresses, torments, and accuses, and does not want you to fulfil your calling.
The book of James gives us a solution: submit to God and resist the enemy, and He will flee from you (James 4:7).   If you are still struggling, ask the Lord to show you what you can’t see:  Sin, unforgiveness, curses and to cleanse you.  Confess the sin, repent and be refreshed.  You should have joy if you are one with Christ. 
“…beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”  2 Cor 7:1
