Semper Fi, “Always Faithful,” the Marine Corps motto, always faithful to each other, to our country and the battles ahead.Today is the Marine Corps Birthday, I am reminded of the loyalty and commitment of my fellow Marines, and now as a Christian, I am pulled in my heart at Jesus words.

“When the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8

What does it mean as a Christian to be faithful? We are to trust and rely upon Jesus Christ in every area of our life. We are to be one with our Lord in an abiding relationship and our fellow believers. We are to be a doer of God’s word and reflect our savior in all His ways, and eagerly await His coming. Stand firm today and fight the good fight of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
