Seeking healing?

Seeking healing?

A great many are seeking healing today as they go into the doctor’s offices, they are looking for the magic pill or new treatment.

Jesus said, “But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.” John 5:40

The great multitude that laid at the pool of Bethesda were also seeking healing. A certain man who had been with an infirmity for thirty-eight years caught our saviors heart. Why? This man was a sinner (John 5:12). Why this man?

Jesus came to save the sinners (Luke 5:32). When Jesus steps into the picture he looks upon that which inflicts us and asks, “do you want to be made well?” John 5:5

The healing of the man at the pool was to bring glory to the father.  The desperate man did not know Jesus; he was one of those that society just put aside, for thirty-eight years he sought healing but no one helped him. We did not hear a definitive answer to the question that Jesus asked, “do you want to be made well?” It was evident by the man’s actions.

Are you desperate for Jesus healing? Are you seeking Him with your whole heart?  If so, receive that which has been provided by the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, it is by His stripes you are healed! The healing has been already provided to us through the shed blood of our savior.

“Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5
