When we do not forgive someone that has hurt us, we have fallen into one of Satan’s traps. He desires you to hold out. He knows that the father will not forgive you until you forgive, and that puts you in Satan’s court.

“To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:10-11

I don’t know about you, but Satan has stolen enough from me. I am not giving him a foothold.

Lord, I ask that you heal the hearts and bind up the wounds of all those who have been hurt by someone and help them forgive as you have forgiven us for our sins torward You. Thank you for sending Your son to die on the cross so we could be forgiven of our sins. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ.
