The Lord gave us a couple of definitions in the Bible. One of them is sin.

“All unrighteousness is sin”. 1 John 5:17. We need to know the truth and reject the false.

“If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” Genesis 4:7
