Roadblocks

Roadblocks

When we are calling out to God and it feels like our prayers are hitting the ceiling, there are possibly roadblocks. What are possible roadblocks? Has fear become a friend that we don’t want to let go? Or are we so busy with making money, friends, or just life, that we do not give any time with God on a daily basis except to shoot up a short prayer and expect results?

On the other hand, we could have a very intimate relationship with God and wait for a prayer that has been prayed many times. We see this example in Daniel. The roadblock was a fallen angels, or demons.

Daniel fasted and prayed for 21 days and an angel said, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.” Daniel 10:12,13  NKJV

When we pray, wait on the Lord. He always hears us.
