How do you start your day? Do you start your day just wandering off? Many do and then play catch up with the Lord when they realize that they have stepped in some stuff and need help getting out.

You would never expect a soldier to just wander off from his unit without his marching orders. Remember you are in God’s army. We are in a spiritual battle and the enemy is intent on stealing, killing and destroying (John 10:10).

The enemy is trying to take back territory. Jesus took all on the cross. He disarmed the enemy. Many believe that our enemy has weapons. He only has weapons if we give it to Him. We are completely shielded from His devices if we remain in Christ. We cannot afford to wander off. Satan’s only weapons are deception and fear. He wants you to believe he can harm you. Don’t empower him.

We overcome through Jesus Christ and the blood He shed, “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” Col 2:15
