Redo
Have you ever wanted a redo so that you could make things right?
We were refinishing wood floors as we put our final stain on; the stain can spilled, which was a disaster; the floors appeared ruined. At this point, we had a choice: go with what we had, rip out the floors, or strip them again and start over (a redo).
Many of us need a redo. I am so thankful that God didn’t say get rid of that one. He takes the “old man” and makes us new.
“…put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” Eph 4:22-24
By the way, we chose to redo the floors, and they came out beautiful. What are you choosing to do?
