“Then”
You know when a verse starts off with a “Then”, purpose follows.
“Then the Spirit told me to go with them, doubting nothing….” Acts 11:12
How many times do we hear the promptings of the Holy Spirit and doubt rises up in our hearts and we question?
“….for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.”
James 1:6 NKJV
The still small voice leads, guides and directs us into all truth. We need to trust the Holy Spirit.
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”
Romans 8:14 NKJV
“But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”
Galatians 5:18 NKJV
To live a purpose filled life led by the spirit we need to meet the following conditions:
- Yield to the spirit
- actively listen and obey
God is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
