Purity and Holiness

Purity and Holiness. Words we profess to have, and few may even strive to achieve. If we profess to achieve purity and holiness, is it purity and holiness we can claim?

No, there is only one that is pure and Holy, God (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit).

The proclamation out of the heart should reflect the measure of our commitment. Our we willing to go under the knife, cut out all that is not pure? “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

Thoughts and intents of the heart speak of purity and Holiness, but are we willing to do what is necessary to achieve them?
