Psalm 91 Promises

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most HighShall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1

Psalm 91’s promises are for those who dwell (remain, abide, sit down), who are in close fellowship with the Lord, in the secret place (our Lords presence, His covering, shelter, hiding place).Where exactly is this place?

Psalm 27:5 says, the secret place of His tabernacle, “For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.”

“Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest (Jesus Christ), who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man.” Hebrews 8:1-3

Through Christ’s shed blood, we have the means of coming into our Lord presence (in the inner sanctuary) and remaining in the secret place (remain in me and I will remain in you), being seated next to our savior (Ephesians 2:6). When you dwell in Him you can declare and acquire the promises of Psalm 91’s protection.
