“You said in your heart,
“I will ascend to the heavens;
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.
I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.”
But you are brought down to the realm of the dead,
to the depths of the pit.” Isaiah 14:13-15

Pride results in rebellion and manifests in our will in opposition to God’s will. If Lucifer, the anointed angel, can fall, what makes us think we can resist the pulls of this world? The solution is to humble ourselves before God. Submit to God, resist the enemy, and he will flee (Pride is the enemy of our soul) – James 4:7.

“All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
