Should I Pray for Lost Keys?

God cares for the details in our life (Matthew 10:30). And He wants us to ask. One time when my father was cooking, because he was home with Parkinson’s disease and my mother was working, he called me and asked me for advice on how to cook something. I felt honored that my dad would call me for advice. I think he felt like he was intruding on my tight schedule of time. But I enjoyed his relationship.

I have heard people say they don’t want to “bother” God. That is a lie from the enemy, the devil, to keep us out of relationship with our loving Father, God. He wants us to ask.

“For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
