Power of the Tongue

When we speak, we can say things that will lift people up, make them smile or feel on top of the world. On the other hand, I am sure we have all experienced in our childhood at one time when someone said something to us that created a deep wound that we may remember even today.

Our words are so important, and God has been expressing to me lately to be conscious of what I say. In the morning I try to remember to ask the Lord to order my steps and my words in His word; the Holy Bible.

“A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”  Proverbs 18:20,21  NKJV
