Jesus Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection gained victory over the forces of evil and provided an inheritance; the provision is in the promises. The cross was atonement for our sin, representing an exchange of the sinless son of God with our sin. All that was due to us came upon Jesus, and all that was due to Jesus is available to us.

Because of the cross, curses are broken, sins have been taken, we receive forgiveness, and by His stripes we are healed. There is power in the name of Jesus!
