“the great trials which your eyes have seen, the signs, and those great wonders. Yet the Lord has not given you a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear, to this very day. ” Deut 29:3-4

Like the Israelites, many people have experienced God’s blessings, yet they still cannot perceive the truth. The Lord is the one who changes the heart, opens blinds eyes to see, and the deaf ears to hear.

“Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.” Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,
And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.” Isaiah 35:4-5
