People to avoid

People to avoid

Have you ever wanted to cross the street when someone you knew was coming? There could be a reason.

The Bible warns us of people we should avoid.

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”
‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭3:1-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Should we not extend love?

“Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:1

However, “…whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.” Mathew 10:14. Separate yourself and avoid the person. Lest they bring you into sin.

“Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” 1 Corinthians 15:33 ESV
