Peace in One Corner?

Peace in One Corner?

Peace is one thing I think everyone desires. We do not desire to have chaotic lives. But in order to have peace, we need to address every area of our lives. We are made up of soul, body and spirit. Our soul is our mind and emotions. If this area in trying to achieve peace without success, we need to address the other areas of our life. Our body; what are we feeding it? If we are feeding our body with drugs, alcohol, and poor nutrition, it is not easy on the soul part of us to have peace. The soul needs to be in a positive mode, not depression, or expressing anger, unforgiveness and bitterness. Our spirit can have great influence on the other two parts.

In this world there are two ruling spirits; the Holy Spirit, and the evil one. We have a free choice to decide which spirit we will allow to rule our lives. The Holy Spirit will bring us peace, joy, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self-control, but most important, love. [Galatians 5:22,23] The enemy only comes to rob us, destroy us and eventually kill us. [John 10:10]

To have total peace, in soul, body and spirit, we must ask God to show us who He is, so we can have peace with Him and experience joy and peace in the middle of chaos.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

John 14:27  NKJV
