As I watched the waiter pour water into my glass, the water started to overflow. The tablecloth became saturated.

What does it take to be filled to overflowing for the Lord and constantly pouring ourselves out for Him?

The glass sat full on the table. Nothing more could be put into the glass.  As I stared at it I realized that this was a one-time filing.

As the glass was filled the servant did not stop pouring into the glass until I spoke up and caught his attention and said that is enough. Thank you.

Are we stopping the Lord from filling us up? Are we saying I don’t want any more now? Are we expending what he has provided? Drinking it up to overflowing to others.

We pray to be filled. Is it continuous or just one time?
