Is an open door policy good?

Many of you have probably heard of the open door policy that businesses use.  It is meant to eradicate fear and be positive. However, the phrase is thrown around a lot and rarely demonstrated.

Jesus said, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” John 10:9.

Jesus tells us what He provides and in John 15:4 demonstrates what He expects, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” John 15:4 NKJV

However, we are also provided a warning, “If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”  Genesis 4:7 NKJV

Jesus’ open door policy no one can shut, “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, …. come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Rev 3:8-9 NKJV
