Only One to Trust

Only One to Trust

Where do you put your trust? I can trust my house to keep me warm, my car to take me down the road, my doctor to prescribe medicine or a special person in my life. We can rely on all of these things, and be thankful for them. But the root of our trust should be in God. He is the ultimate provider. He keeps my trees from falling on my house, my car from running into deer, and He keeps me well so I don’t need a doctor. The problem with trusting only in things and people is the fact that they can be gone in an instant. God is eternal and will always be with us in any tragedy. He is our rock that we can always know is available.

“Do not fear, nor be afraid; have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.”

Isaiah 44:8  NKJV
