Obedience brings Blessings

We all want blessings. Blessings come as a result of obedience. I heard a pastor say, “Incomplete obedience is disobedience.”

God had regretted his actions, “I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.” And it grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the Lord all night.” 1 Samuel 15:11

Saul was deceived, he did not let the spirit lead him. He was lead by his own heart. Like Cain, he did not have revelation.

“Hear instruction and be wise, And do not disdain it.  Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord.” Proverbs 8:33-35
