Non-recoverable loss, at least I thought

The school called the house and reported that one of my children had allowed someone to look at their paper during a test. I was shocked. My husband was gone, and I was left alone to handle the issue. I wanted to make sure that our discussion would leave a lasting impression on my child. So I thought hard on what to say. The word that kept coming to mind was integrity.

So as my child walked in the door that day. The conversation led to integrity. I explained that once you lose your integrity, you cannot get it back. I said, what you have done is not reversible. I look back over this conversation and now see that I was wrong. God can restore any situation and make it right. It is a recoverable loss.

He shall pray to God, and He will delight in him, He shall see His face with joy, For He restores to man His righteousness. Job 33:26
