“I don’t want to bother God. He has more important things to do than to listen to my problems.” You don’t know how many times I have heard this, and I want to scream “nooooo.”
God says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Mathew 7:7
It is not about getting a shopping list filled. God encourages us to come to Him; He desires to have a relationship with us.
Jesus prayed that we would be one with Him, not only Him but also His Father.
“that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” John 17:21-23
When our hearts are aligned with Him, our requests are God’s will for our life.
