Have you set your New Years’ resolution? Why not decide to walk in Holiness? Holiness is living a life worthy of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. To accomplish this resolution, there are several steps you must follow:
- Humble yourself – Submit to God and His word and follow it completely. “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:10
- Seek to live justly and righteously -Jesus Christ has justified you. You are to live differently from the world. Your love for Jesus should be your motivation. “Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.” Psalm 34:14
- Cleanse yourself- “Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Cor 7:1.
- Walk by faith (2 Cor 5:7) – Let the Holy Spirit lead you.
Get on the highway to Holiness this year, “A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray.” Isaiah 35:8
