New Beginnings
As we look into a new year many make resolutions of change for the future. Usually by March of the year these resolutions are forgotten. But, when we want true change in our lives there is only one way to do it.
We cannot change our circumstances when they are group decisions, other people’s minds and attitudes or our negative thinking on our own. The only way to be successful is let God change how we think about your situations and relationships.
When we trust in Him, He promises to give us a new mind, just like His (which is perfect thinking) and often this new mind provides us with new circumstances. He also gives us the power to see changes through to the end.
“…But we have the mind of Christ.”
I Corinthians 2:16 NKJV
“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.”
Philippians 4:8 NKJV
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me [Jesus] you can do nothing.”
John 15:5 NKJV
