Several times during Jesus life, He proclaimed, “My hour has not yet come.” and “My time has not yet come” John 2:4, 7:6. If Jesus was not the center of the stage, who was? Jesus was about the Fathers business (Luke 2:49). He did not care about his needs or bringing himself glory; it was about bringing glory to His father. 

Our time is not our own, either. “Lord, Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.” Psalm 119:133.
