Do you feel stuck? Do you want to move forward with the Lord?

Yesterday, I went backwards on fixing the house. I had put a door jamb in, measured everything, and even placed the door in the opening. Yet, when I went to do the final check, I found that the space was not square, did not align, and was not straight.  

We can study God’s word and serve Him; still, you may find that you are not moving forward. And you may ask, what am I doing wrong? We can learn from the prophet Jeremiah regarding Israel.

“But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubborn inclinations of their evil hearts. They went backward and not forward.” Jeremiah 7:24

When we assume we know and take God out of the equation. We may go backwards. Seek Him in all things. He will open the doors for you.

“For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,” Proverbs 2:6-7
