Marriage Advice

This is good marriage advice, but is good for any relationship. Selfishness is not a pretty garment that we should be wearing. It never brings joy to the one wearing it or anyone around them. When we feel we have won an argument because of our selfishness, in our hearts there is no peace because unity in the relationship has not been restored; but only a score kept.

“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”  Philippians 2:3,4  NKJV
