Many Experience Hunger

We can listen to current events and realize there are many starving in this world today. There are two kinds of hunger; physical and spiritual. It is so devastating for parents when they cannot provide enough food for their little children. But when we study the Bible there are clear examples how God miraculously provided food for those who were hungry.

When we are spiritually hungry we may look in the wrong places to satisfy that hunger. But Jesus promised to never let us go hungry if we go to Him for satisfaction.

“For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. . . I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”  John 6:33,35  NKJV

“…had rained down manna on them to eat. And given them of the bread of heaven. Men ate angel’s food; He sent them food to the full.”

Psalm 78:24,25 NKJV

“And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. So they all ate and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.”
