The familiar ring tone went off, it was my mom. I heard this urgent cry for help, there wasn’t a hello or good morning, “I need to get an Uber ride and I can’t make it work.” I heard her say. I tried to first to calm my mom down and proceeded to walk her through the steps of getting into her Uber app. As I was going through the steps, I noted my mom had a lot of anxiety and frustration. Our problems can be solved by praying. Make your request known to me says the Lord.

We have such a gracious God that hears our cries.
“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers;But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 1 Peter 3:12
“And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” 1 John 5:15
