Have you been made alive?
When you stop and think about someone being made alive, you might think that the person must have been dead first. We hear many stories of people who were physically dead and brought back to life. Lazarus is one of those people. Lazarus was dead for four days. Jesus brought him back to life. Now, this was a physical death and resurrection. When Lazarus came out of the tomb, he had grave clothes on, he was bound. We are all bound in sin and grave clothes before we accept Christ, and we are dead, dead spiritually. When we accept Jesus, the grave clothes come off. We are made new in Christ.
“And you He made alive” Ephesians 2:1.
The old has passed away, and the new life in Christ has come.
“…if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Cor 5:17
