As Valentine’s Day approaches, love is in the air. If we want to love and receive love, we must love God first. Love comes from God. He is love.  

Jesus said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.” Mathew 22:37

Loving God is a commandment. However, God does not want you to love out of duty but because your heart is for Him. So many people have broken hearts and struggle to love and receive love. If you are in this category, ask God to heal your heart. Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted.  

“He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3
