When a heart withstands tribulation, our Lord is glorified! He wants us to turn to Him in times of trouble, uncertainty and proclaim His goodness and power. This may be difficult to do when you are in the midst of a loss.

Psalm 34:17 says, “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.”

Lord, I pray for those who are going through difficult times. I ask that you show them that you are in control of this situation. I know you will make good of these circumstances.  I trust that you will lead them through it.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;” Philippians 4:6
