The word Surrender is sometimes seen as a word of weakness. Surrendering to Christ and laying all at His feet is strength. 

I surrender to you Lord… there comes a time when we realize there is nothing we can do to change our circumstances and we reach out to the Lord humbly and worship Him. A thirst will consume you for His grace and mercy to come upon you.
