“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14
The Lord has had me focus on this scripture this week. I am so amazed how, as we meditate on God’s word and be a doer of it, it changes us from the inside out.
This scripture raised several questions this week.
Are my words pleasing, aligning with His word (The Bible)? Do my heart, and my thoughts reflect Him?
Then I remembered….
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him….2 Chronicles 16:9
God is watching us. Not to condemn us, but to bless, protect, and strengthen us. He is looking for a loyal (Hebrew word Salem (perfect and complete) ) heart. When we are in Christ, a life laid down (New Creation), God can find what He seeks.
O’Lord, look upon me favorably, for you are my strength, my Redeemer and the one I trust!
