This weekend I was able to get out for a bike ride. I had not done this in a very long time. As I started, I prayed for the Lord to protect me. As I was riding, I realized I needed to stay in the moment so as not to hit potholes, run off the road, or get hit by a car. The moment I am referring to is the Lord’s. I was in a constant state of communion with God, thanking and praising Him.
Our Christian life should be centred and focused on the moment of thanksgiving, praise and worship. When we remain in the moment of God’s Spirit, life’s obstacles have no power over us.
“Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.” Galatians 5:25
