Anticipation is a word that can bring hope or fear. To anticipate means to think of (something that will or might happen in the future): to expect or look ahead to (something).
When we anticipate that God will do good things, it is called hope
The Biblical defection of hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised, and its strength is in His faithfulness. It is not wishful thinking.
When we anticipate (project) bad things are going to happen it instills fear.
We need to be thirsty for Christ – sensitive to His heart. Opening up our ears and hearts to Him. We must live by the truth, His word.
We must live in anticipation of the Lord’s coming, eagerly awaiting Him.
“looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,” Titus 2:13
