Life without Hope

Life without hope is not sustainable.

David prayed with expectation, “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.: Psalm 42:5

“Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation (comfort/encouragement) and good hope through grace,   Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.”  2 Thess 2:16-17

We receive hope from God and it is from grace (Jesus Christ brought Grace).   We must receive the Lord’s love (His gift) and what He has done for us on the cross.

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”  Romans 15:13

So I hope you receive His special Gift this Christmas season.
