Let’s be honest. We don’t have all the answers. Many are faced with unexpected sickness. God says, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” You realized that you have not done as God desires and you have repented and turned from your sin. However, the sickness lingers. Now what?

A petition to God proclaiming His promises is a good place to start. God you said, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land (my territory).” 2 Chronicles 7:14 “And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

If sickness continues, then God may be teaching you or keeping you from something. Let’s face the fact, we don’t have all the answers. “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29
