Last year I adopted a puppy that had experienced abuse and rejection.   Consequently, whenever anyone tried to show the dog affection, it would run away.  The solution was to shower the animal with love.  If you are experiencing a loss and feel rejected, God wants to shower you with His love.  Don’t run, running will only prolong your healing.
